Where Thoughtful Design Meets the Natural Landscape

Stephen grew up in a NW suburb of Chicago where he was frequently surrounded by the constant growth and sprawl of production neighborhoods and saw first hand the loss of natural space and the disconnect between homes and the land they were built upon. An avid skier and outdoorsman, he moved to Bozeman to study Civil Engineering at Montana State. After graduating, he saw a need within the Gallatin Valley for a builder that respected the relationship between land and the new homes that were being built upon them. With a focus on using new building technologies and materials, he enjoys implementing and studying Building Science to provide better, longer lasting and energy efficient homes that match the landscape they sit on. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hunting, and backpacking throughout Montana with his wife, Abby, and dog, Annie.
